I keep thinking about how Zion at the 4 would fix the Lakers AND Zion. Zion as a roll man for Luka and third option on this team would get the best out of him if he buys in. You basically have to elite vertical lob threats and real size at the 4 and 5 without gumming up spacing.

NYT has now independently corroborated all the major allegations against Susan Collins in the ProPublica report, including that investigators were prepared to move against her and then Trump intervened to shut it down. This put Trump in a position of exceptional and extortionate leverage over her.

The biggest danger of cannabis for someone who lives in NYC and doesn't drive is falling down an hour-long shame spiral about all of the things you've ever said or done wrong, so for a conservative columnist, this is in fact the most dangerous drug on Earth.

This description of the CNN/CBS “editorial independence board” is not reassuring, because there is no sign that it has any actual power. Also, the requirement that the journalists on the board be from different political parties is exceptionally weird. Via @brianstelter.bsky.social

Under the settlement terms, that board must be established within 180 days of closing and comprise of five "established journalists (active or retired)," each with at least 10 years of experience.
The panel will resolve disputes over
"alleged reporting bias or failure to meet agreed reporting fairness standards" and monitor "editorial independence,
including from... ownership and shareholders." Members will be appointed by the company's board of directors, and "no more than two" may be
"affiliated" with the same political party.

🚨 IT’S FINALLY HERE 🚨 The KAPOW handbook is officially released: 60 pages all about how to integrate mutual aid into electoral politics. And it’s FREE. Join the 1,500+ people who have already received their digital copy: kapow.works/handbook

Front page of the printed KAPOW handbook, with callout text that reads:
"LIVE NOW! Swipe for a preview >" Preview of the KAPOW handbook, excerpt copy [up until character limit] that reads:

How did we get here?
America has cultivated a culture where thousands of people across the country take the noble first step to run for office, only to find themselves sprinting all the way to Election Day through an extremely traumatic, masochistic, and undemocratic process we like to call "campaigning".

Political races are analyzed in terms of who raised more money (which is far easier when you know rich people or are rich yourself, who has the most connections (who doesn't love a backroom deal?), and who is more "electable" (translation: white, centrist man). The extraordinary amounts of cash burned on advertisements and consulting every year are considered a natural byproduct of a system we pretend is still functional. It's almost impossible for working class people to represent their communities as those with power consolidate it further.
But guess what?
It doesn't have to be this way. We don't have to suck.
When I started my congressional campaign, I wanted to try all of the things I've ranted about to my partner: "Why don't Democrats do [insert cool thing]?" Every time I was in a room with someone with power, I asked the same and was always told it won't work. "Well, have you tried it?" I'd ask. The answer was always no. So I decided to try it myself. At worst, I'd lose. But I'd still give the next person a case study to point to, to know that we tried to do something and make it better the next go around.
Well, I did lose. But we - myself, my team, our supporters - won a lot too. We beat 15 candidates, including multiple elected officials, coming in second, just 3 points shy of first place. When I launched, many politicos didn't think I'd break 5%. But we did. And we did it by actually breaking the mold.
That's where KAPOW comes in. Preview of the KAPOW handbook, excerpt copy [up until character limit] that reads:

So... What is KAPOW?
Great question! The KAPOW Method is the name for a new method of campaigning, defined by three main pillars:
• The integration of mutual aid and direct service into electoral campaign work, turning political resources into tangible impact
• The radical belief that helping your community before Election Day is a viable organizing strategy
• The creation of an explicitly political community through creative and non-traditional political action

But my personal favorite description comes from my friend and collaborator, Mia Orlando:
" ]When we say 'KAPOW!, it means halting the doom.
It means turning collective anger into meaningful change.
No one person can do this alone, and through many different channels, we can come together."

Everything described in this handbook comes from our own experience in the Kat for Illinois campaign and what we have learned since founding KAPOW. While we have given a lot of thought to how this would apply in a hyper-urban landscape like Manhattan or a more rural landscape like Idaho, at the time of writing this, we have not been able to do this kind of operation in those places. I say this to remind you, the reader, that nothing in politics and nothing in human-to-human interaction will be one-size-fits-all. And, if we have the capacity, we would love to help you tailor this method to your own campaign.
This is also a method that requires buy-in from both the candidate and their staff. It requires strong values and courage, a willingness to analyze and accept opportunity costs, investment in divergent methods, accessibility, creativity, and a commitment to the work, win or lose. But that's why you're running in the first place, right?
We included an index that divides our method into a variety of categories. At the end of each category, we also added a section for Frequently Asked Questions. Preview of the KAPOW handbook, with copy that reads:

THERE'S 60 MORE PAGES TO READ!
This is just a preview!

Ben Collins' Bluesky profile, live

This page is a live, read-only view of the public Bluesky account @bencollins.bsky.social. The profile header — display name, avatar, bio and follower counts — and the post feed below it are fetched directly from the public Bluesky API every few minutes, so what you see here is what the ben collins bluesky account publicly shows on the network right now.

Many people search for ben collins bluesky because his posts circulate widely — quoted in articles, shared as screenshots and embedded in other people's threads. Screenshots age quickly and can be edited or posted out of context, which is why checking the live source matters. This page exists to make that check take one click: the ben collins bluesky feed below is the current public record, not a copy.

What you can see on this ben collins bluesky page

The Posts tab lists @bencollins.bsky.social's most recent public posts and replies, with text, images, video thumbnails and engagement counts. The Media tab filters the feed down to posts that contain images or video. Every card links to the original post on bsky.app, so you can open the full thread, see who replied, and verify anything at the source.

How this ben collins bluesky viewer works

Under the hood this page calls the same two public AT Protocol endpoints the official apps use: app.bsky.actor.getProfile for the profile header and app.bsky.feed.getAuthorFeed for the post stream. Results are cached for a few minutes and revalidated automatically, which keeps the ben collins bluesky page fast without hammering the shared public API.

Because the data comes live from the network, posts that are deleted on Bluesky disappear from this page as well, and new posts show up within minutes. Nothing here is archived, mirrored or stored: the ben collins bluesky view is always the current public state of the account.

Which account is the real Ben Collins on Bluesky?

The public Bluesky account for Ben Collins — an American journalist known for his reporting on internet culture, disinformation and the technology platforms beat — uses the handle bencollins.bsky.social. This page resolves the ben collins bluesky data through the account's verified handle and decentralized identifier (did:plc:x4qyokjtdzgl7gmqhsw4ajqj), the same way the network itself does, so the binding survives any future handle change. When in doubt, compare the handle in any screenshot with the handle shown in the profile header above.

Why view bluesky ben collins posts without an account?

Not everyone who wants to read a public thread has — or wants — a Bluesky account. You might be researching a quote, checking whether a viral screenshot is real, or simply following a story where the ben collins bluesky feed is a primary source. A read-only viewer lets you do all of that anonymously: no login, no app install, no account creation.

The official Bluesky app is built for participating; this page is built for reading. For the ben collins bluesky feed specifically, that means you can scroll the latest public posts, open any of them at the source, and leave — all in under a minute.

Read-only and independent, by design

This ben collins bluesky page cannot like, repost, reply to or follow anything, and the account never knows you visited — the viewer has no session and no account. It displays public data that any logged-out browser could reach, just faster and in a cleaner layout. The page is an independent viewer and is not affiliated with Bluesky Social PBC or the account owner; it publishes the ben collins bluesky feed without endorsing anything posted there.
